David has had over 40 years experience in the property industry as a real estate agent and 26 years as a qualified Property Valuer & Appraiser.

Education has always been a focus for David and he has obtained various industry related qualifications including
  • Certificate of the Institute of Estate Agents
  • National Diploma in Real Estate (Technikon SA)
  • Diploma in Advanced Property Practice
  • Certificate of Residential Specialist (SA)
He has been appointed by the Minister of Justice as a Sworn Appraiser and is a registered Professional Associated Valuer.

On a personal note, David is a devoted husband to Jenni and father of two boys and is interested in the outdoors and sport. David has completed many Dusi Canoe Marathons and Comrades Marathons and believes that keeping fit is very important.

Ken has had 40 years experience as a Bank Manager and 17 years as a Property Valuer & Appraiser.

After working with EP Building Society, Fidelity Bank & Nedbank as Branch Manager, Regional General Manager Natal & Free State Branches for 40 years, Ken joined D.L. Patrick & Associates and is now a Professional Valuer - responsible for Commercial and Industrial Valuations, Expropriations for Msunduzi Municipality and Umgeni Water, Residential Valuations and specialised properties such as golf courses, petrol stations and reservoir dam resorts.

Professional Qualifications include:
  • National Diploma in Property Valuation (NDPV)
  • National Diploma in Real Estate (UNISA)
  • Registered Professional Valuer (Registration No 7222/9)
  • Member SA Council for Property Valuers Profession
  • Member the SA Institute of Valuers
  • Appointment as Appraiser (Dept of Justice & Constitutional Development - Republic of SA)
